Poema Dance Performance - April 13, 2008

Poema worship dance team performs for the 천사반 (pro: cheon-sa-ban. handicapped children's ministry). Members of Poema performed to the tune of "I Could Only Imagine" by Mercy Me. Their performance was welcomed with great delight by the leaders of the 천사반.

Antioch Church has a big heart for those stricken with disabilities. We currently have about 150 disabled people being served in our church. 천사반 is the ministry for the children up to 13 years of age. 베데스다 (Bethesda) ministers to those from 13 years old to adults. Poema's ministry allows AICF to mobilize our ministry teams to cooperate with various ministries of Antioch Church.

New Happiness Cafe Volunteer

April 11, 2008 

Rachel Bridges joins the staff of 행복나눔카페 (pro: haeng-bok-na-num-ka-pay. Happiness cafe). Rachel began working at the Happiness Cafe on Friday morning as a volunteer. She will be a server as well as helping with whatever tasks are necessary.

The Happiness Cafe is an extension of Antioch Churches disabilities ministry. Funds go toward supporting our churches work to expand the outreach toward the handicapped community in Jeonju.

Congratulations are in order!

Newly Engaged Couple 

Eric Hovey and Sherry are happy to announce their engagement as of March 28, 2008.  

Eric and Sherry were both members of AICF for about a year where they met and fell in love.  

Sherry returned to China in February, and Eric visited her at the end of his contract for the month of March.  Eric has now returned to Boise, ID in the US where he is searching for a job.

Congratulations to the both of them, and AICF hopes they will have a blessed life together.  I will try to stay wind of news about their upcoming wedding and keep you all updated.
